Le 8 juin 2023, John Beebe parlera de la façon dont les huit fonctions orientées définies par Jung peuvent nous aider à comprendre non seulement l’orientation consciente de notre type, mais aussi les défenses largement inconscientes de notre moi, des parties de notre ombre qui sont nécessaires, mais potentiellement destructrices.
Le 15 juin 2023, il nous montrera comment notre expression des fonctions orientées est liée à huit rôles archétypaux que la vie nous amène à jouer. En reconnaissant la coloration archétypale des types en nous (et la coloration typologique des rôles archétypaux que nous adoptons), nous pouvons mieux nous comprendre nous-mêmes, et les autres.
John Beebe, analyste jungien et ancien président de l’Institut C. G. Jung de San Francisco, est l’auteur de Energies and Patterns in Psychological Type: The Reservoir of Consciousness et co-éditeur de The Question of Psychological Types: The Correspondence of C. G. Jung and Hans Schmid-Guisan. En 2021, il a édité un numéro spécial de The Journal of Analytical Psychology en l’honneur du 100ème anniversaire de la publication des Types Psychologiques de Jung. John Beebe a créé une approche typologique jungienne de l’analyse de films. Son modèle de la dynamique du type à huit fonctions et huit archétypes est largement étudié et appliqué.

On June 8, 2023, Jungian analyst John Beebe will speak about how the eight function-attitudes that Jung defined can help us to understand not only our conscious type-orientation but also our largely unconscious defenses of the self, parts of our shadow that are necessary and yet potentially destructive.
On June 15, 2023, Beebe will show how our expression of the function-attitudes is tied to eight archetypal roles that life calls upon us to play. As we come to recognize the archetypal coloring of the types in us (and the type coloring of the archetypal roles we take on), we can understand ourselves and others more completely.
John Beebe, a Jungian analyst and former president of the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, is the author of Energies and Patterns in Psychological Type: The Reservoir of Consciousness and co-editor of The Question of Psychological Types: The Correspondence of C. G. Jung and Hans Schmid-Guisan. In 2021, he edited a special issue of The Journal of Analytical Psychology in honor of the 100th anniversary of the publication of Jung’s Psychological Types. Beebe has spearheaded a Jungian typological approach to the analysis of film. His eight-function, eight-archetype model of type is widely studied and applied.
